World Aquatics, formerly known as FINA (French: Fédération internationale de natation; English: International Swimming Federation) is the international federation recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for administering international competitions in water sports (https://www.worldaquatics.com/)
All World Championships (except the Masters World Championships) and Olympic Games must be held in pools that comply with FINA FACILITIES RULES (see attached file).
FINA FACILITIES RULES 2021–2025 have terms according to swimming pool water conditions (FR 2.1.13 Water conditions) and one of them about Salinity of the water.
Article FR 2.1.13.3 Salinity of the water says that World Records and World Junior Records can be established only in water with less than 3 gr/litre of salt (3000 ppm). No World Records will be recognized in any kind of sea or ocean water.
It means that among all chlorinators in the world the only one is used for these purposes – Ecoline®.
EcoLine® is the absolute ‘best in class’ undefeated champion inline chlorine generator designed for low-salinity and competition swimming pools with TDS levels between 1,000ppm and 2,500ppm.
EcoLine® installed in competition swimming pools worldwide certified by FINA federation.
